In 1969, Wally Pisorn bought the Harbor Inn on the West Bank of the Flats and over the last 40 years Wally and his bar have been the one constant establishment you could count on in Cleveland for good company, many laughs, over 300 selections of beer, and friendship.

All walks of life have had the great privilege of enjoying a beer and some home cooking at the Harbor Inn for 40 years. Now it is time to celebrate and thank Wally for the commitment and dedication he has given Cleveland and his customers.

Wally World is an outdoor Block Party featuring outdoor concerts, food, libations, a 5K run, and a cornhole tournament beginning Friday, June 12, 2009 with events all weekend long through June 14, 2009, concluding with a Survivor Polka Brunch on Sunday the 14th.

Not only is it an amazing accomplishment to have been in business for 40 years at the same Cleveland location, but to be able to own and operate the Harbor Inn for that period of time is truly a feat that Cleveland should celebrate. Wally World is both a celebration of a great Cleveland Landmark, the Harbor Inn, and a salute to Wally who moved to this country in pursuit of the American dream and his hard work in making that dream a reality.
